Trip Managers vs Travel Agents

We’d like to be crystal clear here: we are not travel agents.  We may have travel in our business name but we do not book, sell or ticket airfares for our groups. We work closely with our preferred licensed travel agent partners, World Corporate Travel, IATA travel professionals, who belong to the Travel Compensation Fund.  We do what SHE does best, and what SHE‘s been doing for years for our corporate clients: we design fantastic, creative, authentic itineraries based on our extensive knowledge of a destination.  We coordinate all the bits and pieces that happen when we’re ‘on tour’ and these include organising transfers, tours and activities, booking restaurants, and liaising with the hotels. We worry about all the details – great and small – to guarantee you’ll have a trip to remember (for all the best reasons!).

So – SHE doesn’t include the cost of the international airfare in the trip package, although sometimes domestic flights are included in the cost (you’ll see this clearly stated where appropriate). World Corporate Travel book and ticket all flights on your behalf. When you are ready to book your trip you simply complete an online form with all your details and the flight request wings its way to our travel agent. They’ll also help you if you’d like to extend your trip, and with details such as purchasing travel insurance.  (You’ll find more on this on the ‘Inclusions’ page.).

There you go…we’ve covered that off!  Let’s get travelling!

The travel companion was someone SHE’s known for a while but has never travelled with before. SHE was looking forward to hanging out with a buddy, having some fun times, shopping, lying by a [...]
